We are not just wedding photographers and videographers, we are high school sweethearts who turned our passion for documenting genuine emotions into a thriving business.
It all began when Lee-Anne, with her innate love for photography, saw an opportunity to pursue her hobby while earning some extra money. That's when Leabaum was born.
(We always get this question - our name Leabaum is a creative mixture between Lee-Anne's name and her maiden name - Bierbaum, which means Beer Tree in German)
Since those early days, we have never looked back. Alongside Lee-Anne's passion for photography, Yssel, a previous adrenaline junkie, always had a trusty GoPro by his side, capturing exhilarating moments. As we progressed in our studies, we quickly realized that we complemented each other's skills exceptionally well. The art of wedding photography and videography became the perfect endeavour for us to embark on together, then as a couple but now as husband and wife.
